Rains cause flooding in Durban South Africa

The N2 Highway near Amanzimtoti in KwaZulu Natal experienced flash flooding as rain and gale force winds hit the area on Tuesday morning.

Rescue Care Paramedic Ian Weasels came to the rescue of 3 people who were looking to get to safety place.

The Durban storm comes after a massive storm accompanied by hail wrecked havoc in the west of Joburg on Monday afternoon.
Three people died in the Mogale city area.
The rain had a bad impact on people’s lives as houses collapsed, trees fell onto roofs and car roofs were ripped off.

An 82 year-old gogo from Emaphupheni in Etwatwa, Daveyton in Ekurhuleni was buried when the roof of her RDP house collapsed and neighbours had to pull her out of the rubble and rush her to hospital.
