CONTROVERSIAL Zimbabwe Comedian Mai Titi, who is facing charges of Fraud and Theft of Trust Property, lost her application for discharge on Wednesday morning.
Mai Titi popularly known as Felistas Murata had applied for discharge at the close of the state submissions arguing that the case against her is weak.
Harare Magistrate Munashe Chibanda dismissed her application, ruling that she has a case to answer.
Mai Titi hired a car from a company which she used to secure a US$10 000 loan from one Rachel Mhuka.
She later repossessed the car saying it was not her before using another Audi Q5.
Mai Titi again repossessed the car before surrendering an invalid passport.
Harare Magistrate Munashe Chibanda passed the ruling.
Murata will be back in court on 24 May for continuation of trial.
