Rated among the best mine schools in Zimbabwe wth a current ordinary (0) Level pass rate of 50,4 percent,Parkinson Secondary School in Shurugwi has managed to maintain its prestigious status as one of the most sought after schools since its establishment in 1970.
Parkinson Secondary School started as an F2 School in 1970. The school was opened for blacks who were trained on technical aspects so as to be employed by Rhodesian Chrome Mines now ZIMASCO.
Today the School boast of being the best urban day school in the Midlands province.
