Home Affairs minister Cain Mathema and the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) commissioner-general Godwin Matanga are facing three months in jail for contempt of court.

This comes after a company contracted to do construction work at police institutions won a $58 000 civil claim against the law enforcement agency, which is now refusing to pay for the services rendered even after the court order.
