MDC leader Nelson Chamisa has responded to the party’s Harare Provincial Youth Assembly.
MDC Harare Provincial Youth Assembly described Chamisa’s challengers as enemies of progress. Deputy chairperson for Harare Province youth assembly Stanley Manyenga also threatened that anyone who challenges Chamisa will not be endorsed by Harare province. Responding on Twitter, Chamisa said even though his party values individual politics it has no place for macho politics. Said Chamisa:
This is unacceptable & intolerable.Whereas individual liberties & opinions are tolerated, macho politics unacceptable.Such politics occupy no space in MDC, the glorious family of Democrats,our party of excellence.We will put a stop to this and punish any such future infractions.
