Chiredzi residents in Tshovani suburb have been left counting losses following a heavy downpour which left part of the town drenched in water this morning.
Though the value of property destroyed is yet to be confirmed and the number of families affected, the heavy downpour destroyed houses, household items, schools infrastructure and roads among others.
Disgruntled residents apportioned blame on poor town planning citing the poor drainage system.
